REPORTS BASED ON OPERATIONAL ESEARCH
	19:RAPID APPRAISAL PROCESS (RAP) OF LEFT BANK CANAL AREA WATER BOARD BY THE FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION (FAO) VISIT 16 TO 25TH FEBRUARY, 2005.

To develop a Water Sector Improvement Project (WSIP) in Sindh Province under Technical Corporation Programme, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) mission visited Sindh, Pakistan from 15th to 25th February, 2005, as a part of assistance to the Government of Sindh from. The FAO team met with officials of Government of Sindh and conducted Rapid Appraisal Process (EAP) of Left Bank Canals Area water Board (LBCAWB) in order to stop up project Preparation and capacity Building for Water Sector Improvement Project.
During visit the team conducted various meeting with stakeholders in the Ghotki Feeder Canal, Nara Canal and Left Bank Canals Area Water Board, visited Phuleli Division, Akram Wah Division, ad Guni Canal Division.
The R&D Section prepared a detailed report of that Visit and presented and disseminated to all concerned officers. This report is available in the Research and Development Section of SIDA, Hyderabad.
